About Pooja
Pind Daan in Haridwar is a ritual performed by offering food and water to the ancestors or the soul. This ritual is mostly performed on Pitru Paksha or death anniversary. Tarpan Puja also involves offering water to the ancestors. It is also considered a daily ritual performed by many people to satisfy the thirst of the departed soul and seek their blessing.
