About Pooja
Gangotri Ganga Puja is a religious ritual that involves the worship of the sacred river Ganga. The Ganga River is considered a holy river and it is believed that taking a dip in the Ganga will purify your soul. This puja is performed on the ghat of Ganga. The worship of Maa Ganga is one of the most important rituals in Hinduism. It is believed that Maa Ganga has the power to wash away any sin of any person.
At first, the Sankalp will be taken in the name of the person. Then the mantras are chanted and Ganga mata is worshipped with flowers and other things At last aarti is done of the River Ganga and then the blessings of it are taken by the devotees and their family members.
